New Biotech Patent Attorney Joins Feldman Gale

Feldman Gale is pleased to announce that Scott E. Scioli has joined the firm. Scott is a Patent Attorney registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office concentrating in domestic and foreign patent prosecution, due diligence, licensing and client counseling. Prior to joining Feldman Gale, his practice was focused on pharmaceutical and agricultural biotechnology and food science technology. Scott has a wealth of experience in many technologies, including cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry. He has drafted and prosecuted patents directed to stem cells, siRNA technology, catalytic nucleic acids, antiviral technologies, enzymes, receptors, nutraceuticals, probiotic bacteria, waste stream utilization, biofuels, and fermentation. Scott has counseled a diverse group of clients, including start-ups and Fortune 50 companies regarding a broad range of intellectual property issues.

Scott is a member of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Association, Biotechnology Industry Organization, the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Organization and the Institute of Food Technologists.

Scott received his Juris Doctor, with high honors, from Rutgers School of Law, Camden; was a Ph.D. candidate at Rutgers' campus in New Brunswick; received his M.S. from University of Nebraska, Lincoln; and did his undergraduate work from Michigan State University.

Scott primarily practices in the Philadelphia office, and also supports clients in the Bethesda office.
