Feldman Gale Welcomes David Cherry And Walter Frank

 

BETHESDA, MD - The intellectual property law firm of Feldman Gale is pleased to announce that both David A. Cherry and Walter C. Frank, Ph.D., have joined the firm's Bethesda office.

Cherry, who joins the firm as a partner, is a Registered Patent Attorney with extensive experience in chemical technology and patent law. Prior to joining the firm, Cherry practiced in several Philadelphia law firms and was a partner at Woodcock Washburn, LLP, where he focused on pharmaceutical patent procurement and counseling. Before beginning his legal career, he worked as a synthetic organic chemist in medicinal and process research chemistry for McNeil Pharmaceuticals.

Cherry received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law and both his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and his Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from Drexel University. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Supreme Courts and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Frank, who holds a doctorate in organic chemistry, joins the firm as an associate. He is a Registered Patent Attorney with experience in U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and technical counseling. Prior to joining the firm, Frank was an associate at Woodcock Washburn, LLP and served as a scientific advisor and patent agent to the firm.

He received his Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law; his Ph.D. from University of Virginia; his Master's Degree in Metal-catalyzed Organic Synthesis from University of Delaware; and his Bachelor's Degree, cum laude, in chemisty from Shepherd College. He is admitted to practice before the Florida and Pennsylvania Supreme Courts and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
